VAPOR RECOVERY UNITS KAPPA GI has been involved in the design and manufacturing of Vapor Recovery Units since the 1980 and during these years has faced a wide range of projects related to the VOCs recovery from truck loading, rail loading, tanks breathing and marine loading.

Our team can provide a full evaluation of the terminal facilities in order to drive our customers in selecting not only the proper VRU size but also the best process and the safety devices necessary for a safe operation.

In case of marine loading we can design the whole vapor collecting systems according to the United States Coast Guard’s regulation, including Dock Safety Skids and Blower Systems.

KAPPA GI units are all based on the well-known process of adsorption on activated carbons but we have developed different solutions to recover the hydrocarbons desorbed during the activated carbons regeneration by vacuum:

• ONE STAGE UNIT ADSORPTION + ABSORPTION
• ONE STAGE UNIT ADSORPTION + CONDENSATION
• TWO STAGES UNIT CONDENSATION + ADSORPTION
